Carriers,

Just to summarise some key points from this morning’s meeting with the VTA:

General:

·        The 3rd character in the timeslot number dictates where the timeslot is for and what it is:

o   I – Import pick up from WST eg 16I123456

o   E – Export delivery to WST eg 16E456789

o   M  - Import pick up from WSIT eg 06M123456

o   X – Export delivery to WSIT eg 06X456789 (very rare)

·        Information will be forthcoming regarding the Fleet Controllers workshop

·        DP World will provide Carriers with 1 week’s notice prior to reinstating VBS Penalties

·        DP World will aim to provide more updates on Terminal road performance through the 1-stop notification system

West Swanson Intermodal Terminal

·        Only once a cntr is showing a grid location starting with the letter “I” does it mean the cntr has reached WSIT. Any cntr showing location  “WSIT” means this cntr has been earmarked to move to WSIT and is still in transit.

·        When manifesting at WSIT the container number must be inserted in the timeslot number and the job can then be manifested only with that timeslot. (no other timeslot can be used – if a different slot is used an error message will appear)

·        Please note, Carriers have the ability to de-assign containers from timeslots provided the timeslot has not arrived. Nothing has changed in this regard. Note, this only applies to timeslots that have not arrived. Manifest changes can occur up until the truck enters the pre-gate.
